If you are considering the idea of setting up a new business and, perhaps have never owned or run a business before then you will likely be looking for some inspiration and ideas of where to start. What’s most important and what’s not might cross your mind, what do I tackle first? There sure is a lot to think about, here’s a short list to help you on your way;

  1. What will you sell?

It might seem like an obvious place to start and, you’d be right, although there are many people who want to go into business but not entirely sure what the business will sell. As long as you have a clear idea of what you will sell, you can then start to plan properly.

  1. Help and experience

We are living in a very fortunate age of a well-established source of help and information in the form of the internet, granted, at some point you will probably need to pay somebody but, you could get most of the help you need from others experience and blogs.

  1. Start-up Costs

Unless you have previous experience, then the chances are you will need to get help working out the initial costs of company formations in Vanuatu, you will have to pay for registration as well as things like a website and products or services.

  1. Capital and Finance

Most people don’t have the initial capital needed to put into a business and as such will need a loan from a bank or an investor to help things get off the ground.

  1. Competition

You must be very well acquainted with the competition and what they offer so that you can design your business a little differently, you need to set yourself apart somehow and offer something unique.

  1. Location

Location isn’t really that important, if you are running an online business, virtual offices are available anywhere in the world if you need an office address. If you are going to open an office or shop then it needs to be easy for customers to find.

  1. Staff

A company is only as good as the people that keep it going, if you are going to hire staff you will want to make sure that they are as keen as you to get things going and moving in the right direction.

 Possibly one of the most important aspects of your business, you will need a website and depending on what how your company operates you will likely need things like payment systems, get a tick list in place and it should make things a little easier.
